The Biden-Harris Administration has expanded the Freight Logistics Optimization Works (FLOW) initiative to include the Port of Oakland and the Northwest Seaport Alliance (Port of Seattle and Port of Tacoma), which now covers 95% of inbound container traffic on the West Coast. This public-private partnership, led by the U.S. Department of Transportation, aims to enhance supply chain efficiency and resilience, reducing costs for consumers and supporting American businesses through better data-sharing and logistics coordination.
