Imports to the Port of Oakland Reach 2-Year High

The month of May proved to be a busy month for containerized imports to the Port of Oakland. Port officials announced 82,440 TEUs of import containers were handled during the month, the highest volume since August 2015. Imports account for 38 percent of all container volume shipped through the Port of Oakland.
